Unfortunately you must disable fs journaling for this to work. You find the commands to disable journal it in the tutorial.

Regarding write support, the whole tutorial is aimed for this scope. So yes, you will have write support to the OS X partition at the end of the tutorial. Disabling journaling is essential for write support, at the moment.</description>
